Chocolate Coated Peanut Brownies


Delicious and tasty these chocolate coated brownies with peanuts are a favourite family dessert best served with ice-cream.
Ingredients
- 2 sticks (one cup) butter, melted
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup flour
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup salted peanuts, divided
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- 1 11.75-ounce jar hot fudge, warmed
- 2 7.25 ounce bottles Magic Shell chocolate topping
- 1 package vanilla ice cream
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar until mixed.
Stir in the eggs and vanilla.
Add the flour and cocoa power, stirring slowly until just combined.
Fold in ½ cup peanuts and chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
When the cook time is up, remove brownies from the oven and allow them to cool completely.
When the brownies are cool, top with a layer of hot fudge.
Sprinkle remaining peanuts over the top of the fudge.
Coat the peanuts in Magic Shell chocolate topping.
Place the brownies in the refrigerator to chill for at least 30 minutes, until chocolate topping has hardened.
Cut brownies into 12 equal pieces. Serve each brownie piece with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
