Cranberry Bread in the Bread Maker
I love using my bread maker – it’s one of the most used appliances in the kitchen, from fresh white bread for breakfast to pizza and dinner rolls it’s used most days. This simple recipe for holiday bread is great.
You can find all of our bread machine recipes together in one place just remember to save them so you can come back and make them at a different time!
By putting it all together in the right order and using the dispenser in my machine I can literally throw it in and leave it to go. If you don’t have a dispenser for added ingredients then you’ll have to watch for the beep or add them about 30 minutes after you start the cycle.
Dried or Fresh Cranberries
Although I love fresh cranberries you really can’t use them in this recipe, the paddle in the bread machine will smash them to pieces as the bread is kneaded through the different cycles.
Instead, you will have to use dried cranberries these are a little sourer but I think it makes the bread extra delicious and is perfect to serve toasted with lots of butter.
You could use leftovers of this bread in our Cranberry and Eggnog Bread and Butter Pudding to make it extra cranberry!
Ingredients for Bread Maker Cranberry Bread
This is yeast bread so you’re going to need some dried active yeast (suitable for bread machines) for the recipe. It helps it rise especially with the weight of the dried cranberries in the mix.
The other ingredients are simple:
