Bread Machine Cheesy Garlic Bread Recipe

Bread Machine Cheesy Garlic Bread Recipe
A simple recipe for delicious cheesy garlic bread in the bread maker perfect for serving with pasta dishes and casseroles.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 ½ cups shredded Italian blend cheese
Instructions
- Place the flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder, parsley flakes, and salt in the pan of the bread machine.
- Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the milk, egg, and olive oil.
- Set the bread machine to the quick bread setting and allow the machine to preheat and knead the dough.
- When the bread machine prompts (see notes if your machine doesn't have a beep to prompt you) you to add additional ingredients, add the shredded cheese. Shut the lid and allow the machine to continue the quick bread baking process.
- When the bread is finished cooking, remove the pan from the machine and allow to cool.
- When the pan is safe to touch, turn the bread out onto a wire cooling rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes
Not all machines have a feature that allows you to be notified when the bread is ready for extra ingredients. If yours doesn't then simply add at around 25 - 30 minutes after starting the machine.

- Put all the ingredients in a stand mixer with the dough cook and mix until thoroughly combined.
- Leave it for 30 minutes knead again.
- Pre-heat the oven to 180C
- Place the dough in a loaf pan or form into a shape of your choice.
- Sprinkle with cheese on the top.
- Cook in the oven for around 20 – 30 minutes until lightly golden.

I really liked it! However I added extra garlic and used old cheddar for my personal taste and it tasted really good. It could have been a little less dense but that’s ok
