How to Line Your Loaf Pan for Banana Loaf

One of the things that has made it so much easier to make is that I bought a set of loaf pan liners, these are the ones that I got.
Instead of greasing the pan, it is so much quicker just to place one in and fill it with the banana loaf batter. Then place in the oven. It saves time with cleaning as well and not once have I had the loaf stick to the pan since I started using them.
How to Freeze Banana Bread
One of the things I find is that we don’t ever have just 3 bananas it’s normally a bunch so I make double the quantity and split between 2 loaf pans. One I eat now and the other I freeze.

To freeze I first allow it to cool completely then wrap it in foil. Once it’s wrapped I use a plastic bag, remove all of the air and then seal and place it in the freezer ready to enjoy another day.
How to Thaw your Banana Loaf Cake
When it comes time for eating, it’s really simple I like to do it overnight rather than have the loaf sitting tempting me when it’s not quite thawed on the countertop.
So I remove it – save the plastic bag for next time and then leave it wrapped in the foil to defrost. After about 4hours or overnight it’s ready to go.
