To save some time especially when we are busy I buy cinnamon roll dough ready to go bake. It’s so much easier on a morning and they come with the frosting already perfect for putting this together as a little extra treat than just plain old rolls.

Why not just the cinnamon rolls for breakfast? What I have found as a mom to 2 busy kids is that although cinnamon rolls are great they just don’t seem to fill them up. Switching it up and making it as a breakfast casserole fills them up all the way to lunch and they love it.

The crumble topping that we make in the mixer adds a little crunch to it if you wanted you could add in your favorite nut chopped up for a little bit of bite, walnuts or pecans would work really well.
