To be honest I've never had the patience for that! Easy fudge though is more my style using tinned milk (either evaporated or condensed) and cooked in a pan or even the slow cooker. Check out this easy recipe for slow cooker fudge that we've been following for years.

adding chocolate chips to the fudge mix in the pan before boiling

Making in the pan and then letting set in the fridge overnight before cutting into cubes and packaging is so simple and our friends and family love receiving this as a gift.

What to do if your fudge is too soft!

One of the biggest problems we've had with our fudge is that it can be too soft!

It's because we haven't stirred it and boiled it long enough. The liquid from the evaporated milk is too much for the recipe.

A quick fix though we can return it to the pan stir and allow some more to evaporate (on a simmering heat not boiling) before setting again.

Don't put the Oreo's away just yet - save 5 of them and create some Oreo Cookies Hot Chocolate Bombs a well these to make a great gift for friends and family this Christmas.
