Although our simple waffle recipe is great and the kids love it sometimes we like to change it up a bit. Delicious Funetti Waffles for Sleepover Breakfasts

A delicious waffle recipe for sleepover parties. These funetti waffles have a sweet glaze and are so pretty to serve.
Ingredients
Ingredients for the Waffles:
- 4 egg whites
- 2 cups milk
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup rainbow sprinkles, plus more for topping
Ingredients for the Glaze:
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- ¼ cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the waffle iron.
- In a large bowl, whisk the egg whites until light and frothy. Add the milk, oil, and vanilla and mix until well combined.
- Add the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix until batter is smooth, being careful not to overmix.
- Stir in the sprinkles.
- Pour around ¾ cup of batter onto the hot waffle iron. Cook each waffle around 5 minutes, until the waffle iron stops steaming.
- While the waffles are cooking, make the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Add more milk one tablespoon at a time to thin the glaze if needed.
- Serve the waffles with a drizzle of glaze and additional sprinkles on top.
