We love waffles! When ever the kids have friends over for a sleepover it’s the most requested food for breakfast. Although our
simple waffle recipe is great and the kids love it sometimes we like to change it up a bit. These delicious Funetti Breakfast Waffles make sleepover mornings extra special and the kids love how pretty they look.

Ingredients for the Waffles:
4 egg whites
2 cups milk
½ cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 tablespoon sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ cup rainbow sprinkles, plus more for topping
Ingredients for the Glaze:
2 cups powdered sugar
¼ cup milk
Preheat the waffle iron. In a large bowl, whisk the egg whites until light and frothy. Add the milk, oil, and vanilla and mix until well combined. Add the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix until batter is smooth, being careful not to overmix. Stir in the sprinkles. Pour around ¾ cup of batter onto the hot waffle iron. Cook each waffle around 5 minutes, until the waffle iron stops steaming. While the waffles are cooking, make the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Add more milk one tablespoon at a time to thin the glaze if needed. Serve the waffles with a drizzle of glaze and additional sprinkles on top.
